Use a proxy server to protect your IP address as you browse the web.
An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a numerical code that is assigned to a device that accesses the Internet. Through an IP address, the location of the device can be pinpointed. Though this can be useful for things such as online gaming, the idea of your web activity being stored on the web can feel like a breach of privacy. A proxy server is a simple invention used to hide your IP address while you browse.
Below are the simple steps to follow:
1. Open your preferred web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer.
2. Direct your browser to a proxy server website. Some suggestions can be found in the Resources section.
3. Wait for the proxy server website page to load, then locate the address bar - this is usually towards the bottom of the page.
4. Enter the URL of a website you wish to access and then click "Go." You will then be taken to the website within the proxy server page and your IP address will be protected.

HOW TO BROWSE FREE USING MOZILA FIREFORX (MTN NETWORK)
This setting works well with Mozilla Firefox. Let me use the Mozilla
Firefox to teach you how to configure it. Here are the steps to follow
to get connected;
1.Launch Mozilla Firefox browser from your desktop or where it is
located o click on n your computer.
2.click on tool from the tool bar
3.select option tab from the drop down menu that appears.
4.click on advanced
5.click on network
6.click on setting
7.select manual proxy configuration
8.on the HTTP proxy input daveproxy.co.uk or 213.229.83.205
9. on the port input 80
10.check "use proxy server for all protocols" then click OK
11. Then go to the homepage of the browser and input the website of
the network operator you are using, which should be
http://wap.mtnonline.com as for MTN
This how to locate the homepage of Mozilla browser
click on tool from the tool bar, then select option, click on main tab
and input the website of the network you are using and click OK.
Immediately your browser is re-launched, the page will load and
http://daveproxy.co.uk default homepage will automatically get
redirected from any of the addresses above, just enter your desire
website address into their URL and hit enter.
